The Potter’s Vessels is a Christian based organization co-founded by Executive Director Mary B.Bell. Mary who has a B.A. in Human Community Services with a minor in Psychology and Family Ministry with a God given vision and leadership that is necessary for success in our mission. We feel that a relationship with God is the basic need for everyday living and will assist them in pursuing their spiritual growth. We believe that your relationship with God can and will help you in succeeding to live a successful and sober life style.

We provide supportive housing for those in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction who meet our criteria. Our residents come from prison; detox centers, treatment programs, jails, homeless shelters and other settings. We meet the needs of those in recovery that have fallen through the cracks of the human service system.

The Potter’s Vessels actively fosters leadership development among our residents whenever possible. We conduct activities in the community to reach those we wish to serve, their family members, and friends.

We advocate for the rights of those we serve, and educate the community about substance abuse and recovery from addiction and alcoholism. We advocate for the rights of the homeless and the indigent.

Mission Statement
  • To help the participants build a spiritual, mental, physical and emotional person enabling them to become a productive member of society.
Our Vision...
  • To be an organization that enables the participants to transition from what seem to be a hopeless situation to a healthy and successful recovery. We want to guide and acknowledge the importance for a spiritual basis for life.
OUR NAME: The Potter's Vessels
  • What kind of a vessel are you? Are you cracked, chipped, leaking, wood, glass, clay or discarded? Come and meet the Master Potter Jesus Christ and let him remold you.
Five Requirements for Becoming a Vessels God Can Use
Accept the way God made you,
Be Emptied of self to make room for God,
Allow God to Cleanse you even if the process is painful,
Be Filled and constantly refilled with the Living Water of the Holy Spirit,
Pour Out your life in ministry as God directs.

2 Timothy 2:21 "if a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor,
sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work."

The Potter's Vessels seeks to assist inmates, ex-inmates, and others into finding the true Potter who can make
vessels unto honor to pour from. Our objective is to assist others in finding the peace that surpasses all
understanding and sharing the love of Christ (Philippians 4:7).
