A Typical Project

Let's assume that the client also wants a content management system so that they can maintain the site on their own moving forward. How much will something like this cost? Let's break it down.

• Project Management, meetings, and correspondence over an 8-week period: 8 hours
• Visual Design (outline an original design): 8 hours
• Page Coding (turning designs into HTML and CSS): 8 hours
• Implementation of a simple Content Management System setup: 5 hours
• Content migration and CMS training: 5 hours
• QA and testing: 2 hours

That's a total of 36 hours spread over a two-month period. At our standard $50/hour, you're looking at roughly $1,800 for a simple redesign and a content management system. A site with a simple ecommerce system is probably in the same ballpark. If you leave out the CMS and/or ecommerce and select a pre-built template that we will provide, you're looking at about half that price.
